Accoustic Datasheets
europanel have invested heavily in commissioning a large amount of testing at Melbourne’s RMIT University’s ‘Acoustically Isolated Reverberation Chamber’, and achieved certification data in accordance with Australian Standard ISO 354-2006.

euroBLADE S1
Design Flexibility
Design the euroBLADE to suit your space with custom blade size, spacing and finish. Our design team will work with you throughout the design process to finalise an approved design and provide a custom number to ensure easy specification.
Finishes
euroBLADE is available in natural timber finishes, or if a uniform colour better suits the aesthetics of your design, a polyurethane or prefinished cover can be applied in any colour or finish.
With Australians often looking to make greener living choices, architects, specifiers, engineers and home owners are increasingly choosing Western Red Cedar as sustainable building material.
Also along with its natural ‘lightweight’ characteristics, Western Red Cedar has a zero carbon footprint.
For our standard euroBLADE panels we utilise Western Red Cedar for these qualities, however any species of timber can be easily used if a specific grain or colour texture is to be achieved.
Accoustic Backing
euroBLADE offers the option to include a thin fireproof soundmesh acoustic lining fabric. This material is purposely designed to replace traditional bulky materials and has been engineered to maximise sound absorption to add more acoustic value to your space. Refer to our acoustics page or more.
Substrate
Standard euroBLADE is constructed using 25mm painted ‘matt black’ crossmembers, with either solid timber or polyurethane finished MDF batten strips.
Fixing
Ceiling Blades: ceiling blades are fixed to a furring channel grid system.
Wall Blades: Wall blades can be fixed either onto a structural wall, or using split batten system to become removable.
