europanel were engaged to find a solution to bring this unique customised design feature panelling to fruition for the Ground Floor lobby refurbishment at 20 Hunter St in Sydney’s CBD.

The custom euroBLADE vertical battens were manufactured out of American Walnut solid timber with many intricate, varying in shape, horizontal pieces to create an Oriental aesthetic to the straight and curved walls within the lobby and supplemented with an elevation of euroTEX fabric panels to the waiting area to add warmth and increased acoustic performance to the space.

The europanel team supplied and installed the panelling within a live environment as the building was fully tenanted and required uninterrupted access to the lifts during normal office hours.

Project specific shop drawings afforded easy integration of lift reveals and all services during fabrication, enabling europanel to complete the project on time with a high standard of quality.
